Hi, Volker Simonis has resigned as lead of the PowerPC/AIX Port [1]. Under the bylaws for Project Roles [2], a new Project Lead may be nominated by the Group Leads of the Project's sponsoring groups. The Porters Group is sponsor of the project. In my role as Porters Group Leader, I would like to nominate Martin Doerr [3] to be the new Project Lead. The Porters Group is the only sponsoring group for this Project. As I am the only voter in this situation, the nomination is approved.
