Hi,

we're regularly testing Hibernate ORM on s390x, but recently started experiencing issues when building Hibernate ORM 7.0 on s390x, since that requires JDK 17.

We essentially run into a JVM error. We're using the latest available Semeru JDK 17: https://github.com/ibmruntimes/semeru17-binaries/releases/tag/jdk-17.0.10%2B7_openj9-0.43.0

I hope this is the right place to report this. Can you maybe also suggest a workaround for the meantime?
