[OpenJDK 2D-Dev] <AWT Dev> Status of java.awt.image ?

Roman,

We know this is doable, but  this could yet be resolved such that we can 
simply move
the classes to open. So we've held off doing any potentially wasted work 
until we get an
answer -  which is taking a whole lot longer than any of us would like.

BTW the 2D list is the correct one for this topic.
