[OpenJDK 2D-Dev] What is the point of CloseTTFontFileFunc?

Hi Martin,

I have just raised https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8078654 and
submitted (to this list) a patch for review which removes the
unnecessary close function. It just needs 2 reviewers and a sponsor to
commit.

I would be very grateful if someone from Oracle could pick this up and
push it into jdk9/8/7.
