[OpenJDK 2D-Dev] Backport of JDK-8041501?

Thank you for pointing me to the correct list.

I would have certainly liked to confirm, that the bug is really fixed.
Unfortunately neither current jdk 9 b100 nor b99 will install on my 
machine or on the one of my colleague.

We think we are affected by 
https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8146756.
I would have commented on the issue, but I have no account on 
bugs.openjdk.java.net.

I'll report back, when the installation issue has been resolved.
