Sorry I didn't understand your last email. Would you like the min/max patch being merged first or after the vectorization work is done?

As I'm new to OpenJDK and not familiar with the auto-vectorization part, I don't know how long I can finish it. But I can try it now because you said "it should be pretty easy".
