Well, that explains why I didn't get an email! I checked in the change
using your patch and with you as the author Next time I'll remember to
use my name as the author name when I push a test commit to the submit
repo :-)

I pushed your change in branch JDK-8212043.

The submit repo doesn't usually return very helpful messages when a
failure occurs. This looks like it might be a build issue on sparc but
it might also just be a temporary problem in the build.

Perhaps someone from Oracle who is subscribed to the
hotspot-compiler-dev list will be able to provide further details of the
failure on sparc? Just to be sure Oracle devs see this could you please
post a follow-up email to hotspot-compiler-dev and aarch64-port-dev in a
new thread with "8212043: Request for help with Submit Failure" in the
title and the quote the contents of the returned message?
