I get to the login window with this JDK build.

thanks for letting us know!

When you are installing the Windows 10 SDK, you get a hs_err_pid*.log file too. Here is one from my machine (that is, I can reproduce your issue): https://gist.github.com/lewurm/c9c3e8e9138a6471ffb2be80a76400d6

This looks related to the changed exception handling mechanism for the target platform. I'm gonna discuss this with my peers and I'll come back to you.
