I think that was just me forwarding a few reviews. It wasn't necessary
but I thought it might be useful for those subscribing to the updates
list to know about the decisions being made and the rationale for them.
I suppose we /may/ still see the AArch64 port upstreamed into jdk8u at
some stage.
