Just to be clear - formally, OpenJFX is an OpenJDK Project.

I'm not aware of anyone having tried to package OpenJFX for Linux, fwiw, 
so I can't say how hard that would be.

Yeah - the better forum for OpenJFX packaging discussions would be the 
corresponding mailing list:
