Hi Jaromir

Welcome to the Adopt OpenJDK list! Nice to see the jClarity community
connection working :-).

I've CC'd in the official mailing list (adoption-discuss at openjdk.java.net)
for discussing actual OpenJDK patches
within this program, you'll probably want to sign up there (via
http://mail.openjdk.java.net/mailman/listinfo) to follow
the conversation.

=====

Now in reference to your idea. Usually we don't recommend people starting
with a Hotspot change when first contributing,
but in this case as it does appear to be a small self contained change, so
it's worth exploring! I'd probably do the following:

1.) Have a read of the New Contributor page we just put up
https://wiki.openjdk.java.net/display/Adoption/New+Contributor
- in particular the official guidelines.

2.) Post a message to hotspot-dev at openjdk.java.net mailing list and ask if
the idea/feature is worth implementing as they're
pretty strict about what can go in. If there's general consensus that it
should be then you can ask for a Sponsor to open up an
issue for you which you can then work against.

We can help you work on the patch (with regards to the process, for Hotspot
technical assistance, you should ask questions
there).

Cheers,
Martijn
