You guys are too Social 2.0 ;) What's wrong in IRC :)
Seriously, if from one side more channels sounds better, I'm afraid we
may risk too much fragmentation as we simply can't keep up with each
and every service out there.
I don't want to force IRC on anyone, but IRC is the least common
denominator for most of the OpenJDK hackers, and I believe Adoption
should bring people closers to them.
Also, IRC is kind of Free, with most IRC servers providers being
sponsored by Open Source players and serves FLOSS development since
the early beginning, should we really change that?
