I'm afraid that it may be unlikely to be worth the effort, judging by 
the state of the various attempted mirrors on GitHub over the past years.

OpenJDK does not work with pull requests, so mirroring does not really 
seem to provide long term, practical benefits.

using GitHub pull requests without also subscribing to a GitHub-specific
