Hi All,
Like every month we had our Adopt OpenJDK hack, supported by LJC members,
hosted at the Salesforce/Heroku office (
http://www.meetup.com/Londonjavacommunity/events/220892696/). Thanks for
John Stevenson from Salesforce for hosting us every month.
We regrouped into groups of two where one was working on the building and
testing of OpenJDK while the other on the Betterrev project.
It was a productive day for both groups, as you can see closed pull
requests (https://bitbucket.org/adoptopenjdk/betterrev/pull-requests) and
commits (https://bitbucket.org/adoptopenjdk/betterrev/commits/all) made by
the developers working on Betterrev.
We also took the opportunity to move our long standing *Adopt OpenJDK:
Getting Started Kit* from its original Google Docs format to a cleaner
GitBook format, see http://bit.ly/1NUkPWw - from the community to the
community.
We are happy to hear from you and get any feedback on its content, also if
you wish to contribute please get in touch. If you or your JUG name isn't
mentioned under the contributors section please get back to me.
Cheers,
Mani
