As I discussed in the JUG leader call earlier this month, we are organizing
an Adopt Programs Summit & Workshop at Devoxx UK on Wednesday 17 June:

Adopt Programs Summit for Java User Group (JUG) Leaders

Adopt-a-JSR and Adopt OpenJDK are community driven programs that provide a
hands-on guide to getting involved in defining the future of Java
technology, and these sessions provide everything you need to know in order
to get involved. Working together with the Java Community Process (JCP),
these programs have gained world-wide community participation in the last
three years, and have contributed to both the Java EE 7 and Java SE 8
platforms in a concrete and significant way. Come along to this session,
and learn from leaders in the Adopt programs how you can start contributing
to creating an even better suite of standards that are relevant to Java
developers now, and in the future.

Speakers include Spec Leads, Evangelists, Java User Group, JCP and OpenJDK
leaders: Daniel Bryant, David Delabassee, Antoine Sabot-Durand, Leonardo
Lima, Mani Sarkar, Heather VanCura, Richard Warburton.

As I mentioned I have discount codes for up to 25 JUG leaders who would
like to participate and attend the Adopt Programs Summit - each code is 1
time use and gives 50% discount to be used only by the JUG leader. Please

We will also have a Hackergarten during Devoxx UK on Thursday and Friday
