How to contribute to the Adopt OpenJDK and OpenJDK ?

This is the best advice in http://openjdk.java.net/contribute/.
One could regularly participate in the IRC discussion of JSR;s. I tried
that. But even then generally the close-knit group may meet at conferences
that all cannot pay to attend.
