Those sites are for Oracle JDK bug reporting. The first thing such a
report via those sites would receive is a request to see if the issue
also reproduces on Oracle JDK.

I don't know either but I assumed that as AdoptOpenJDK gives an explicit
bug reporting URL in their builds:

that there would be a suitable process behind that for dealing with the
bug report.

The OpenJDK mailing lists are not a bug submission system.
As I said I would have expected someone on the adopt side to open a JBS
issue directly, after suitable investigation of reproducability.
