Hooray! Thank you for your efforts.

As an amber lurker, I think this is just about what I wanted to see. Or, 
to put it differently, I think this passes the "good enough" bar with 
flying marks, and that given that the alternative is "nothing at all", 
then "good enough" is all that was required. As you say, additional 
tweaking can always be done as we go along.
