Save Annotation

Hello, i'm working on OpenJDK9 compiler Javac but I'm not be able to 
find some documentation about where the Annotation with RetentionPolicy 
RUNTIME are saved. I also see here 
https://docs.oracle.com/javase/specs/jvms/se8/html/index.html but I'm 
not be able to find 'attribute_info' in the source code. Can i have some 
information please? Thanks
