JDK 7: General Availability

The first and only JDK 7 Release Candidate passed all its tests with
flying colors.

After 9,494 bug fixes, 1,966 enhancements, 9,018 changesets, 147 builds,
and four JSRs, JDK 7 is done.

A giant thank-you to everyone who contributed to this release -- from
Sun, Oracle, and elsewhere -- and especially to those who held on for the
long haul of four years, seven months, and seventeen days since JDK 6.
