<AWT Dev> JDesktopPane - Background black on Windows7?

Hi,

Running my swing based app on jdk6u22 + Windows7 with the
WindowsLookAndFeel I get a black background for JDesktopPanes which
looks quite ugly. I get the same behaviour running SwingSet2:

Is  black  simply the default background color of Windows7's default theme?
Or is this a (known) problem, should I open a bug report?

Furthermore I noticed a slightly cut-off window-close button on
JInternalFrames, is this already known?

Because nobody responded on the swing list, I try it hereagain.
