Hello, Anthony.
You were right, in case the Toolkit thread has an AppContext we should invoke the updateProperties through invokeLater as the DesktopPropertyChangeSupport could invoke a propertyChangeListener directly.

I've also added an automatic test, but it's quite complicated.
