Dynamic invocation patches on OS X

Hi,

There has been interest over on the mlvm-dev mailing list (for development
of a Java VM which had explicit Multi-Language support - including languages
with dynamic dispatch) in getting the dynamic invocation patches for OpenJDK
7 running on OS X.

Currently, the application of the patchset produced by John Rose (detailed
at http://wikis.sun.com/display/mlvm/Building) is failing on the bsd-port
code. Is there anyone on this list who could possibly spare some cycles to
help us understand where the patch failures are coming from - and even help
fix?

I'm quite a newbie at a lot of OpenJDK - but I do have time to devote to
trying to fix this. Other people who would directly benefit from having a
working patchset include some of the core developers for JRuby - so this
would really help out some other projects as well.

Thanks in advance,

Ben
