Building Latest Repo On OS X - Taking a very long time!

Hi,

I have been able to get the latest repo to build again on OS X, however, it
is taking at least 4 times longer than before.  Was something added to the
build that gets it into an endless loop?  Was the previous build not
building everything?  How can I build less so that it does not take over 1
hour to build (it used to take less than 20 minutes).  Actually, a build has
not finished, so I don't really know how long it takes, I am beginning to
thin it is in a recursive loop.
