. Fix some whitespace bogons.
. Make the following ARCH changes for BSD:
  . If the machine architecture is x86_64, set ARCH to amd64.
  . If the machine architecture is sparc64, set ARCH to sparcv9
  . If the machine architecture other starts with sparc, set ARCH to sparc
