I see this issue too.  You can workaround it by downloading the zip
yourself and pointing the JDK to the directory it's in with
ALT_DROPS_DIR.  I posted the bug to the build-dev list some time ago
but have had no response.  It seems to be an OpenJDK issue with
downloading from https URLs.
