I don't think there is a ticket and I'm not sure about getting into JDK8
final. However, since it is not am official Java feature it may be easier
to get into an update release.

There is already dtrace support for Solaris so the port may not be too
difficult. I made a very brief attempt and just ran out of time, but I
believe I at least got it to compile.
