Hi - is there a group of people working on OpenJDK 8 for OpenBSD?

Nope.  It didn't build the shared library.

This feels like a makefile problem and I have to say the makefile structure
in this project makes my head hurt.  I'll do some grepping and see what I
come up with.

I think that basically it built the .o files and doesn't have a rule for
the link step.
