how to build 32-bit openjdk7 on x86_64

I have a four-file patch that enables me to do 32-bit build on 64-bit linux
machines (where 32-bit libraries are installed) now. I don't need to specify
ARCH explicitly on the build command line. Instead, I rely on saying
ARCH_DATA_MODEL=32 to override the auto-detected ARCH value in several
makefiles.
