Build path has a 54/55 characters limit

One failure comes before this (passing the call is a big difficult
considering the size):

     [exec] execve(): Argument list too long

This is just one though, there are a few others long calls that I can
see while proceeding the build (after changing /var/tmp/portage
with /var/tmp/portag, one less character, and all is fine), and if the
base path is even longer (like adding one more "portage/portage" to
the path), there are failures on calling /bin/ls too.
