I hope we open a trickle, not floodgates.  We have months of
pent up pressure to release here (changing metaphors from
home repair), and we shouldn't let it go all at once.  Some
of the changes are major, and we should let each one seep out
through our testing harnesses, because there *will be* bugs in
there, and it's easier to find them one at a time than trying
to pick them out as the floodwaters recede.

So, I'd look for a moderate flow for a while, before we drain
down to what we can write in real-time.  Of course, by then,
we'll have lots of new people in the bucket brigade.
