Hopefully yes. This bundle logic is now baked into the build process.

No not on purpose that I know of, the creation of the openjdk source bundles
from the Mercurial repositories is pretty simple.
The clones are created, the ".hg" directory is deleted, and the source
is bundled up. No filtering is done, any file managed by Mercurial will be
in the source bundle. Figured that was the best way to go.
