custom compiler flags per file

Hello,

How do i set custom compiler flags per file  ( sharedRuntimeTrig.cpp  in
hotspot ) on solaris x86, x64 platform ?

Do we need to provide working flags for all previous versions per compiler,
or  is there a list of minimal compiler versions for various compilers and
platforms that is supported ?
