Not so long ago, a wise colleague looked at an intractably hard problem,
and decided to go for the low hanging fruit and simply put the problems on
a ProblemList until they could be addressed.

It seems like a similar solution would apply here -- provide a script that
would populate an import area with whatever things are easily downloaded
and installed.  :-)
