Error building jdk7 on ubuntu 12.04 64 bit inside VirtualBox

It looks like you are trying to build hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk7/tl/.
That's very out-of-date. Most of the problems you have mentioned here
are fixed in the jdk7u (the u is for updates) forest. Try
http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk7u/jdk7u6 instead.
