JOBS?=0

I noticed the configure output includes

checking for number of cores... 1
checking for memory size... 1002 MB
checking for appropriate number of jobs to run in parallel... 0

This is a VirtualBox guest. Maybe the memory is too low for a build.

With Sergey's suggestion:

> ./configure --with-jobs=1

It becomes

JOBS?=1

and make is running now. Anyway, I think I should give it more memory.
