Thank you David and Phil. This workaround was indeed something that worked.

However, I wouldn't be in the infra team if I accepted a workaround 
instead of fixing the tool. :-)

With the above understanding, I found and fixed the problem in the 
webrev script. Bug and meta-webrev (!) coming up shortly.
