Building openjdk 8 on Mac OS X

The short answer is that building jdk8 on Yosemite is not supported. 

A longer answer is that we're currently working on getting jdk9 to compile on Yosemite. When that is successful, the patches needed might get ported to jdk8. 

If you post more extensive log extracts to build-dev, we can possibly help you find a work-around in the meantime.
