That's probably the root cause of the problem. We've the same problem
here. If for some reason the anti-virus isn't running :) you can
observe build performance improvements up to a factor of 2 or 3. You
may also be able to exclude your build directory from beeing scanned
by the anti-virus software, but this again depends on your local
policy. Or you can install another Windows in a VirtualBox/VmWare
without anti-virus software which should still be a lot faster.
