RFR: JDK-8191715 Update documentation pointing to "common" directory

There are multiple places in comments/documentation that points to the 
now removed "common" directory. Since it does not affect running code, 
it was not discovered during the transition to the new consolidated 
structure (nor by me in my follow-up code review...)
