Older versions of Xcode installed on local machines will likely continue
to work for a while, as long as the community supports it.
Xcode 9.4 has 10.13.4 listed as minimum version of Macos to run. The
devkit may still work on 10.12, since 9.2 worked there, but I have not
tested it and don't have access to such a machine to try it either.
