I think I saw something similar on aarch64 either Debian or Fedora, but can't check now. I think the
patch has the symmetry with lib32 block below, so this comment can be dropped:

  190    # On ppc64/ppc64le/s390x the 64-bit libraries may be under 'lib64/'
