Indeed, I already mentioned that in [1].
As for the testing, as you may know, I have access to pretty much any architecture
running Linux, including SPARC, of course.
But anyone on this list get can get free access to a SPARC-T5 running Debian
unstable through the GCC compile farm [2]. I'm one of the administrators of
this T5 (it's actually an LDOM on a T5).
The GCC compile farm has been created for exactly this purpose and we try to
make as many architectures available, so please feel free to apply for an
account and make use of that possibility :).
