Sorry, unfortunately my laptop (WSL 0.60.0.0) seems to be updated to 0.61.8.0 silently during the test... I got following result current fixpath.sh on older WSL (on Windows 10 - it is not updated because it is offline!)
$ ./make/scripts/fixpath.sh import /tmp/foo/bar
fixpath: warning: Path '/tmp/foo/bar' does not exist
