Thank you for pointing me in the right direction! I tried the backport in pull 152. Unfortunately, it doesn't take care of this problem 🙁

I will keep a watch on this, however.

You might want to try and test that on your GCC 11 box. (There are instructions how to get the PR
branch from Git).
