RFR: Enable new HS build on linux/ppc64

and sorry for the delay:)

Here's a patch to enable the new HS build on Linux/ppc64:

The compare.sh script is pretty cool and I at least managed to get the
same symbols in both the old and the new libjvm also all the fulldump
differs:

Directory structure...Identical!
File names...Identical!
Permissions...Identical!
File types...Identical!
General files...
Jar files...
Libraries...
 Binary :   Size    : Symbols :  Deps   : Fulldump : Disass   :

REGRESSIONS FOUND!

But I think that's OK for now:)
