Troubles building Caciocavallo-NG

Hi Mario,
as per the README file instructions from [1]
I'm trying to clone escher [2] but it prints that "abort:
'http://escher.sourceforge.net/hg/escher-trunk' does not appear to be an
hg repository!"
I can pick just .jar file but that's not for a real jeday :)
