Our central tests were running with a fastdebug jvm. I do not know what would have happened with an opt/product JVM on the same test machine. I would prefer the exclude list but if this is not wanted then we can use requires in the test as well.
The java/awt/font/JNICheck/FreeTypeScalerJNICheck.java test was added with Linux in mind anyway afaik.
