I'm confused since your images with and without the font pack look the same yet they
should be using different fonts - ie Gulimche should be used for monospaced when you have the font pack - although maybe  it is always installed, but also  the rendering of each group looks the same so serif == sanserif == monospaced == dialoginput == dialog - why ?

Which should not be the case at least with the font pack
