There are cases were the user can do something with a checked
exception, e.g. opening a file. In this case the user can be prompted
for a different file name if the one suggested does not exist. So I
think there are some cases for which checked exceptions are suitable,
I have certainly used them from time to time (I don't use many
though).

I think one of the problems with checked exceptions is that they are
over used, e.g. close file, that is why I am suggesting that the
resource auto-clean-up should not throw an exception.
